POWER RESTORED!!!

3 PM EDT (Last day for that too! Set the clocks back tonight!!) The power finally came back on after 130.5 hours. Finally able to put the generator away and live like normal human-beings again... Whoopie....

Hunt for Red October I think.

Too late again. Well, I am on pain pills. Tried and failed to pass the last kidney stone. This one sent me to the hospital. Morphine is your friend. I am home now with just little pain pills but I am a lightweight.

Sorry to hear that.
It is amazing how much pain can be generated from such a small item in ones kidneys.
Try to avoid surgury if you can.
Lots more ultrasound to break it up and lots more pain is better than the knife in the long run.

MRI says I'm all clear after this one. I have passed more than 20 in the last 6 weeks. None were as bad as this last one. Without a doubt no knife if possible.

Yeah Chuck, quit dickin aroun, and get better already, we've lost a few crew-members, and I will surely miss your "tally-man" daily view up-dates, if you become another .. medical leave.

Sure is nice to have the good-good feelin' of 120 volts coursing' through your wires on a regular basis!! Love snapin' on a switch and seein' immediate results!

Lobstering sucked today.. We've got one trap that is wound up with five other buoys in a tangle that we can't lift by hand! (We don't have a hydraulic hauler.) So we are waiting for one of the other guys in the tangle to use their hauler and untangle it all. Evidently they are waiting too as it's been a cluster-f--k for several days now and nobody has touched it.

Then we had another trap that was tangled with four other buoys this morning that we know we set in a nice open spot with nobody else near by, but we were able to untangle that one.

Then there is one buoy that is simply missing! We haven't found it for three days now. But we have faith, earlier in the year we lost one for 26 days and then all of a sudden up it popped!

Cooler weather is creeping in all across the country. Old Man Winter letting us know he's on his way...

I had a fight with the stone last night. We fought from 8 pm till 1 am. And I kicked it arse out!!! It put up a good battle and commend it in its struggle. But in the end, I was victorious.
