I would say 3 feet most of the time you can hang the longer side out the front but ever so often that 6ft one is in the middle.

You will have a harder time finding me, though I'd better bring all the weedeaters inside so you don't see them when you look at the satellite images for Florida.

Re: Shindaiwa

Bert-Man,

Ichi-bon-son-san, who has his own landscaping business, will only use those motorized "brooms", that are made by Shindaiwa. He swears by them.

I recently tried to repair a broken off handle of a hedge trimmer he had. I was surprised at how light the handle casting was! (That is what broke.) I tried to repair it with steel inserts embedded in JB Weld "Steel Stick", which I hoped would tie the two sections of the handle together.. It didn't work, broke off the first time he tried it. "Steel Stick" is not as strong as I hoped it would be. I now wonder if 3,500 psi epoxy would have been a better choice, it would have 'flowed' in around the bits of steel I used to help strengthen the break. The steel stick required me to force it in place, there may have been some unseen voids. Oh well, I do ALL of it for fun, making a profit never seems to be in the cards anyway.

Roger

And here in lies the difference.
I do it to pay the bills & put food on the table ( well to be honest I grow about 60% of the food ) but I still need to pay the bills.

Maybe I have been looking at this all wrong.....should the press frame be parallel to or perpendicular to the wall??
For some reason I had been thinking parallel...but now that seems pretty restrictive.

With exception of maybe an awning over the enrty door to the lower shop,
New Shop 23.jpg Every T has been dotted and every I has been crossed with the construction of Ron's Lower Shop (that's kinda an Astor Florida reference...)
