Re: Ronno6

Ron,

I'll say the same to you as I did to Doc. I was unaware that you've pissed anyone off.. Or is it just this thread where you guys get along?? LOL . . . This is a fairly congenial group, which is only appropriate for a forum designed to help and assist others. It is certainly no place to have hate and discontent. There is plenty of that to be found elsewhere.

Rog

Nah....not so much on this site.
Although I have maybe ruffled a couple of feathers and elicited a snippy reply or 2........(maybe even a lecture )

Re: MTD Yardman Transaxle Rebuild

Hee's an opportunity to further my education:

I have finally opened up some space along a wall for my 20 ton hydraulic press.
I would like to bolt it to the floor.
How far from the wall is a reasonable distance to secure it??

What sayeth the collective wisdom of this sage crowd?

Re: MTD Yardman Transaxle Rebuild

always need to be free to work around it, no closer than 3 feet would be best....in my old shop I had it between too bays, and it came in handy twice when I had to press king pins in a 4500 truck axle that came into the shop with the spindles seized on it:thumbsup:
