Proper infection hygine ( masks , washing , isolation ) have reduced the reported occurance of flu.
If we all isolated every time we thought we had been infected with a cold or flu then there would be no cold or flu because the viruses can only be spread by infected people .
If every single person stayed isolated for 21 days then the cold , flue, and even covid would die out completely.
But we make individual selfish decisions to take a hand full of pills to reduce the effect of the symptoms then go off to work for our own personal gain without a milli second of thought about the consequences of our actions to others who we will infect .

Thus controlled experiments are near impossible to do and even harder to confirm by repeating which is the scientific norm.

where the false positives come in is people who have been exposed to viral packets but not been infected.

I'm sort of the same way. But not so much for disease purposes. Just a personal space thing. Shaking hands, I'll do it, if someone sticks out their hands. But If I do it first, it's a fist bump. Asians and their head bow thing is a good thing, I think. It shows respect.

The same way it got up over $4 gallon with W. I'm not sure what happened when Trump was office. It's a fact, we seen some decent gas prices during his term. If he has something do about it, I doubt Biden will do it.
But honestly, I doubt the CEO's and big shots in the oil business, who get million $$$ bonuses are going to take orders from a president who makes what, $400K a year?
