Ya. I super excited, I have followed the zero turns for a couple years. Snapper pros just always hit the sweet spot for me. I have a friend who's just started a lawn business with a skag. He hates that I a buying snapper, he is all about brand names skag, dixie, bad boy, husquana.... ect. Though I do feel bad for my neighbor who brought a mtd zero turn last fall. He mows 2acres way too short, 2 inches maybe, and it's all clumpy and streaking. He has nothing but trouble with his deck coming loose and his engine, kohler courage 27, not wanting to start. My engine, briggs turf 27, is my only gamble. I could have went down a spec on the drivetrain and got a Kawasaki. But I am good with all the knowledge I received here and other places about the briggs being built pretty good. I will for sure take extra special care of it. She gets delivered tomorrow around 10. Should get her first mow Saturday or Sunday. And it will be a tough task with no mow for 3 or 4 weeks a

Awesome, let me know how it goes.

I don't understand your friend's thinking. How is badboy a brand name and snapper pro not a brand name? Snapper pro (ferris/simplicity) has been making commercial mowers longer than badboy.

I would think snapper would be a lot higher on the list then badboy.

Snapper was making one of the best mowers many many years before badboy came along.

I have a 1998 snapper pro and still use it over my newer mowers.

It's just amazing how marketing can influence the general public. Advertising creates buzz words and theories that just don't apply to real world situations. I did my my homework and decided on snapper pro, of course my local dealer seems awesome and anything less would have influenced me greatly.

Max actually rolls his eyes when I mention snapper to him. Today he tried to change my mind to buy a 2007 dixie chopper eagle lt2300 50" for 3800. Telling me it's a great deal on a dixie because they are the fastest mowers in the world. Again.... Marketing.

Google zero turn lawn mower race. Was done in 2011. Hustler super z, scag cheetah, john deere, exmark laser z, and Dixie chopper. The hustler smoked them all. Scag was second, jd and exmark were the same and Dixie chopper was last. Sure didn't look like the fastest mower in the world to me. Just an unsubstantiated claim by the manufacturer. I believe that Dixie chopper makes one mower that can go over 20 mph, but it is too expensive to buy. The rest of their mowers are no faster than any other commercial brand.

Got the s200xt delivered today. Mowed a small section and took a trip around the yard. Going to have to get used to the speed and size and controls over time. I would take a picture but you all know what they look like.

Only small gripe is the dealer just gave me any old s200 manual and it doesn't match my actual model and the engine manual doesn't match either.

Let them know. If they are as good as it sounds they will correct that. The biggest problem you will have is that you will get done so quick you will be disappointed that you don't have more to mow. I run into that myself. I even went across the road and volunteered to help the church across from me mow their lot. I did more in 20 minutes than they did with two mowers. Would have done more, but had a flat lol.
