A pic of my new mower. My family thinks i spent too much, but they can have fun mowing with their Craftsman tractors..... lol

I totally agree. Mowing will be fun for you. It will be a chore for them, and it will take them twice as long as it would take you to mow lol. Good looking mower. Ask your buddy max what it would have cost him to get the same features on a Dixie chopper or scag. Couldn't even come close to the price you got that one for.

Got the s200xt delivered today. Mowed a small section and took a trip around the yard. Going to have to get used to the speed and size and controls over time. I would take a picture but you all know what they look like. Only small gripe is the dealer just gave me any old s200 manual and it doesn't match my actual model and the engine manual doesn't match either.

Funny thing, my dealer gave me a FX Kawasaki manual when I have a FS Kawasaki on my Ferris.

My dealer gave me the right right mower manual and wrong engine manual. Gave me the FH and I have the FS Kawasaki engine

That's a fine looking machine!!! Just tell them what I did....it's a retirement investment, because regardless of your age if you take care of that ZTR it'll outlast you:0)

This thing is a tank. From the frame to the tires with all the heavy duty connecting rods and ball joints and bearings. A beast for the price. Last Minute I came across a Dixon dx260 for just 500 more dollars. The dixon came with a Kawasaki engine which I liked. But this Snapper Pro's build quality is second to none in this price range.

Of course, loved my dealer. But since the sale they haven't answered any of my emails or returned any of my calls. I know its fair season and they are busy with that. But time will tell if my dealers just was all talk to get the sale or not.

You definitely got a very good mower for an awesome price. Let us know how it goes after you mow with it. Are you still looking into getting the suspension insert?

I hope to mow this evening if my wife gets home rom her hair dresser in time. I tried calling and emailing the dealer to get the insert and trailer hitch ordered. But they stopped communication after the sale.

That's messed up if they are truly done talking to you...very hard to find a good dealer these days. Mine takes about 2 calls before they do what I ask during peak season.

Was able to use my mower tonight. I was very impressed with the power of the engine and capacity handling of the deck. Knowing I got the smaller engine option I went in skeptical, but only in the heaviest of grass did I notice any issues. And I haven't mowed my yard In over 4 weeks, so some areas were super thick.

I didn't time myself directly, but the hour meter says 1.4 hours now. My previous best was 2 1/4 hours. So I am going to be saving a lot of time, because today I slowed down over the high grass areas.

Grass clippings are somewhat clumpy, but like I said I was making hay out there. The cut looks amazing otherwise, but no evidence of a striping kit at all. I mowed at 3 1/4, which my old mower would have crapped out at. I checked my deck level ness before I mowed and it was almost perfectly level without any pitch, maybe a 1/16 down in the rear.

The controls are a lot stiffer then my old worn out toro, but much more responsive. I found the seat very comfortable and my feet are supported nicely to support myself when things get rough. I will be getting the insert, mind as we'll have the best ride possible! That is if I can find a dealer to sell me the items, hard to find online. The deck really discharges the grass quickly and lays down a carpet like cut. My dogs like to carry small tree limbs and such around the yard and mowed over a few of these such items. Shot these items out like a rocket, even with the chute down.

Afterwards I got out the leaf blower to get all the tall grass clipping off the top,of the deck. They all blew off nicely except for around the outside spindle next to the discharge chute. The mounting hardware for the chute didn't allow me to get in there and clean it out, I had to dig in with my hands and got most of it. If this issue remained I might remove the safety cover from that spindle.

Overall grade.... "A"

Mowed a under a demanding condition with ultimate success!
