LEG
Man oh man, you can't beat a forum that shows a little leg!!
Doc, my scar is further up my thigh, about six-inches above my knee, we aren't going to match... I never did get it stitched because I didn't figure that would work good whereas the meat was just gone! I doctored it myself. I did the same for the fingers on my left hand (after they were stitched up), but that didn't work out very well either as the middle finger was broken and ended up twisted off to one side. If I give anyone the finger with that hand now, it's not something they quickly forget.
I'd tell you guys what I did yesterday, but honestly, I can't remember! . . . . Not much I guess... Oh! Now I remember! A couple family members came down and had lobsters with us and then Becky and her brother had to go to a lawyers office and sign over a piece of property they were selling to another party. . . . Like I said, I didn't do much..
Nothing on the fire today either... I'm feeling tired like Doc, been getting up early (before 5AM) to go haul traps. This morning we relocated some traps to an area with several ledges where we did well last summer. We want to see if the lobsters have moved in down there yet.
I think I'll go and bake some of my favorite cornmeal 'gems'. I use to collect vintage cast-iron cookware as well as old cookbooks and discovered that years ago, small muffins were often called "Gems" and some muffin pans were referred to as "Gem Pans".
I found an old recipe for corn muffins (gems) with a 2:1 flour to cornmeal mixture and 1/3 cup of sugar, that really come out great! Delicious with butter and honey..
A-Yup.. I'm gonna bake some right now.. Let's see, should I use the French Roll Pan, or the Turban Pan... Hmmmmm....
