Striping! Gotta love it!!

My mower has a floating deck (residential) do you think that the commercial mowers stripe so good because they have a solid mount deck??? Does that sound fees able???? Even a push mower would be solid.......?

All my mowers have a floating deck chain hung.

What brand mower do you have?
Toro does not stripe as good as others.
 
besides the walkbehinds all my ztr's have floating decks level w/high lift blades. I think its a matter of deck design and the amount of forced air flow the deck creates.
 
thanks by the way. I' about an acre of grass at the shop and will literally make a down and back pass and make adjustments to the deck if needed, until I'm satisfied with the cut and stripes.
 
yeah it's on the same property with my house, that house in the picture isn't mine.

its a cheap o toro recycler, we don't push mow much, but it seems to be hanging in there.
