thanks carscw, it wasn't that serious a couple have just wondered why we started using a different brand. we are still doing the same quality work just a different color mower.

I'm guessing the were older clients? I had the same thing happen to when when I started using ZTR's instead of my walk behind mowers with a sulky. If it wasn't for taking a little longer and being more fatigued, I would only use walk behind mowers.

i love walk behinds as well I barely use the ztr's personally(I still have 1 Dixie). my retired dad uses the new Scag and Colin uses the Dixie or other walk behind depending on the job. I didn't cut with the new Scag ztr for at least week after I got it and then it was just the shop yard lol. I'm always driving the truck, string trimming, running a blower or running the walk behind. anybody can mow but the moneys in the finishing touches, most lco's overlook the little stuff and eventually fail.

I love to use my old as dirt walk behind.
It still cuts better then most new mowers.

It is not a mower for sissy boys it is a whole body workout.

Well, I got to mow with the new mower for the first time yesterday. I always wanted a striped lawn so I was already thinking about getting one of those stripers for $3-400.

Turns out with my new Kubota, I don't need it!

Excuse the wavy lines as I'm still getting used to the steering.....

the one with the matching back yards is from a Scag walkbehind with the velocity deck no stripe kit. the other is from the tiger cat with the velocity deck both are cut at 4 1/4" s.
