Southeast.

We get rain almost every day.
Most yards grow 8 inches in a week. It's been crazy.

Can anyone post a picture of stripes done without a striping kit? That are really bold and distinctive..... On a yard that has never been striped before????? From what I've experienced you have to mow the same way every time (training) the grass so to speak!

Thx

Posted this earlier in the thread. This is my first time mowing with my Kubota Z723. Lawn has never been striped before. No striping kit involved.

Any of my post are all first time being striped.

Why do they never cut a putting green the same way everytime ?

Because it is not good for the grass.

Mow south to north one time and west to east the next time but never the same path twice in a row.

Ya you'll notice ruts real fast. Then comes the washboarding

can you post one? also on the properties where we can, we alternate direction every other week. your issue with stripe kits sounds like a personal issue, personally I don't buy, build or use one on any of my mowers. however they have there place, and I can respect the persons that use them. if you've only experienced having to "train" the grass try adjusting your cutting height, blade type, ect or maybe a different brand mower. I've looked at tons of great jobs on this site.

Wow those all look good. I mow @ highest setting which is 4" I do get mild stripes. I just would like to get them more defined. Without a kit. I'm tired of pulling/dragging kit. Even with a kit mine weren't as bold as any of yours? I've got high lift blades and I even have deck heeled 1/2" I have taken kit off! I'll try gettin a picture without it.....

Thanks
