Engine died and will now not crank Hustler Raptor 42" FR651VR engine Model 931741 serial number 13011560

The engine just stopped, it will not crank!! nothing no clicking nothing, I did not hit anything.
had to push it to the shed now what.
It has fuel I checked the volts the other day when it was running had 13V.
Is there a cut out for the oil level?? I thought I checked it before starting and it was full.
Im going back out in the 100F weather to start t/shooting again BUT im not electrically minded.
I checked battery volts 0; its on charge.
I will put the batt back in tomorrow after a good night charge if it starts, where do I put the meter to check if the battery is charging? on the batt terminals or?
Where is the voltage regulator location I cannot find a good diagram or photo.

Try manually cranking engine by rotating pulley under mower engine

Doesn't sound good. If you can't turn it with the spark plugs out, she might be a goner

I had this same problem and it was the electric clutch that took a dump. When that happens the windings pile up in the clutch and the engine is solid. It just so happened to take out the switch to activate the clutch too. Two issues at once can leave you scratching your head!
