    SH270 Simpson Pressure washer

usually when I buy something I read the manual and try to figure where everything is before using it. This Simpson MS61124 with a Kohler SH270 bogs my mind. Some places say it has a throttle control. Some say it has a fuel shutoff, Some say a choke. So far I found a lever marked choke, and...

    20018 twitch

friend's son has a Toro 20018 that has a twitch in it. As one is mowing the mower will twitch to the right a little about every 10' - 15'. I assume that this means the wheel on the left side is not driving at that moment. A while back I went thru both sides and replaced worn parts, everything...

    Stains

Had some rust and manganese sulfate stains on concrete and stucco I needed to get rid of. Hydrogen Peroxide worked on some of them including clothes washed with the teeshirt I was wearing. However by combining 5% vinegar and 3% Hydrogen peroxide in a sprayer 1-1 makes an acid you don't want on...

Anyone know these hoses and filter?

This is a Ryobi Hedge trimmer. The filter has rotted off and fallen in the tank. I don't know which hose it was on. If no one knows for sure which hose is the carb inlet, then maybe I can test it by putting two new hoses in some fuel, pumping the primer and see which hose draws and which one...

    Valve Lash B/S 125K02-0189-E1 21" Super Recycler 20055

Have an older (2006) Toro Super Recycler with Briggs 125K02-0189-E1 engine. Runs really well but 2006 to 2023 is like 17 years @ 30 minutes to 1 hour a week x 52 = 600 - 850 hours on it. Figure it is probably time to check the valves while I am servicing it. I did that late last summer on an old...

    Iron

Got soil test back today. Iron in a part of the lawn that is thin the last few years is about 430 ppm or 863 lbs per acre. The pH is right at 6.8 so there is no desire to raise pH to lower iron availability, and the phosphate level is medium / optimal. I am going to add some Yara 21-7-14 turf...
