Are the any vintage mower collectors on here?
thanks for the advice on my "shift" problem. What it is that I can't put it in F or R when brake is applied. I have to stop the engine and then I can change.Based on what you said, I leaning to brake adjustment because it has a lot of travel in the pedal and does not stop that quick.
I am a newbie. I'm trying to find information and possibly a manual/parts for my Craftsman 123.8151 Yard-man Power Reel Mower with Large Wheels.
I have pictures of the mower and the "Product plate". The handle and arm are the original wood. Where should I post this on the site to get more info.

I think it was manufactured in early 50's.

did anyone ever send you a reply, or a link to a manual???
if not i will try my best to find you one
Joe,

I would like a PDF of the John Deere 160 riding mower/lawn tractor manual if possible.
I purchased a Kawasaki FB460V engine, off a 160 about a week ago. The seller kept the wiring for the starting system (he said he “needed” the wiring; I should have asked for him to include it), so I’m having to figure out the starter wiring myself. I’ve looked for “FB490V starter wiring diagram,” but haven’t been too successful.
Having the manual at hand would keep me from making a mistake in wiring the starting system. I’d rather do it right than shock myself (literally) in the process!

Thank you very much!

Hello Rick,
A while back you posed a few pics of an old Yard Man mower with teeth. I have been looking for this exact mower for a while. Did you buy it and if so would you be willing to sell it? Best regards, Hank Richardson
