Actually homeowner mowers are a lot cheaper now adjusted for inflation. You can get a 12 HP lawn tractor for about a $1000 or so, the same as I paid for my 12HP 40" cut Craftsman lawn tractor new in 1986 over 25 years ago. That has always amazed me how lawnmowers have stayed the same price for so long. :confused2: Wish gas had.
NAFDA and cheap labor and materials I guess. Maybe also why so many brands have consolidated and been bought up. :2cents:

True, but is the quality and durability the same ?

Was just looking at the Red Reo with the picture of granny, at first glance I thought she was holding a cell phone. Maybe she was trying to tell us something:laughing:
