I may do that.
However, the overload relay on the starter is set to 28A, so I would think it would trip if there was a problem.
A question: does the wore to the pressure switch have to be the same gauge as the wires from the panel and to the motor?
It is wired into the control circuit,no?
Does that circuit see the the same load as the rest of the circuit??
The contacts of the pressure switch are rated 10A @ 575v.
Look on the MOTOR DATA PLATE .. what is the FLA numbers & if shown LRA numbers You may want to change the breaker to a 30AMP if you're using #10 THHN jacketed wire (just precautionary)
