I'm a busy guy and I'm usually visiting on my phone. Typing on it is cumbersome for me.

Frankly, I don't even own a cell phone of any sort.. I have no idea how anyone types on one of those things. I like my computer with it's nice 21" screen monitor. I can understand why a cell phone would be indispensable to a small business person, (in my company we used two-way radios for communications with our trucks and workers in the field. Even when cell phones became popular, I found the radio system to be cheaper and quicker to use for immediate contact.

Well, Skipper, I am somewhat ambidextrous................well, sort of...
I write left handed, and I eat "continental" style: fork left,knife right...cut and then straight to mouth w/left....no switching hands.
When I played round ball, my jump shot was right handed; layup and 1 hand dunk... left hand.
So, I am kinda screwed up in the handedness category.
For that reason, I sometimes get my left/right screwed up.

It is actually my RIGHT knee that has all the problems.............

As for my kidney stone, they FINALLY found it yesterday via CAT scan.
Looks like minor surgery for me next Monday if it doesn't pass B-4 then.
(I'm drinking lots of water and jumping a bunch in an effort to pass....gotta strain my piss til then.......(SUCKS....)

As for the right/left thing, problem is in LEFT kidney/plumbing.
When the person at the Dr's office was discussing the surgical setup, she said "right" kidney.
I said NO NO NO..........LEFT !!!!!!
She went back thru the notes and FINALLY agreed and corrected it.
I think I'll take a marker and write "NO" on my right side, and "YES" on the left................

You sound like my sister! (Well, in the ambidextrous department, anyway.) She can alternately use either her right or left hand as the job requires. However, as a guy, the real 'trick' of being ambidextrous is being able to switch hands and GAIN a stroke! But, be that as it may...

Writing on your side is not a bad idea! When I had my knee surgery (one week ago today) they actually used a marker to write my initials on the correct knee. (I have no idea why they used my initials. Why not, "Cut here!")

Man I don't know how you have stood having a kidney stone for as long as you have! Those muthers are painful!! Gall stones too! Make you wish you could just curl up somewhere and die!

Don't let them hook you up with a needle in your hand/arm/wherever until they have written on your body where they should be cutting! I don't trust the bastards! And once they can inject whatever it is they used to knock you out, you only have seconds to speak for yourself!

They have this fancy little thing on most keyboards where you can click on it it looks like a microphone. Then you can talk to your phone and it types for you. This is what I'm doing right now. Of course if you have an iPhone are crap
