Re: MTD Yardman Transaxle Rebuild

Good morning all. Hope you all have a wonderful day.
Captain this is a better link for the other one I posted: http://www.viberider.com/ it is a small device that is mounted in the rear seat of a motorcycle to make a Honda feel like a Harley for your Lady. ;-)
Tom

Tom,

I got it! Never would have thought anything like that would be required on a Harley.. Maybe a Honda Goldwing or something, but then guys riding them probably wouldn't think of installing anything like that. When you first mentioned it, I envisioned something a little more "active" and perhaps three dimensional... (Ever see one of those "bikes", or "rocking chairs"? - Well, that's what I thought you might have found..) Make you famous with the ladies, for sure.. (Not that you aren't already - of course.)

Keep "UP" the good work..

Re: MTD Yardman Transaxle Rebuild

I visit often. I just don't reply often.

Well there Darryl! That's been my bitch ever since this thread took off! Evidently there are LOTS of visitors, but damn few of 'em post anything.. Just imagine how great this could be if only half of 'em bothered to say something! I mean everybody on here is friendly, some are even helpful! We never give anyone (well maybe Boo-Boo) any schitt.. Why on earth wouldn't you log in and at least say "Hi"? We would LOVE to hear from more visitors, I have posted this plea more times than I can remember, but I don't get many results.

I want you to know that YOU are appreciated for your contributions. I want to thank you for your service to "Lawn World" the "Transmissions & Transaxles" forum and especially to the "MTD Yardman Transaxle Rebuild" thread.

Now if we could just get postings from a couple hundred more guys (and gals too!) - Wouldn't that be great!!??

Ayup, yes'sah, their comin' down... Best be getting yer rake tuned up.

Rake, what's that? Lol, I did have to use rakes this spring for the billions of twigs that came down during a couple of heavy/wet snow storms we had but other than that it's blowers all the way. I should have my newest one this week. The new Echo 8010 with 1071 cfm at 211 mph. That's a good bit more powerful than my Husqvarna 580 which is 7 years old and has already been rebuilt once. I could have the Echo already but I don't want to go around my usual dealer. I think I'm going to sell my Billy Goat 10HP wheel blower. I rarely use it since I got the 580 and it just takes up space.

I'm a busy guy and I'm usually visiting on my phone. Typing on it is cumbersome for me.

WELL Darryl it goes like this ..... a PHONE is a phone, a COMPUTER is a DESKTOP (or now, a Lap-Top) device) AND a camera is a device unto itself also, a BIG cell-phone ?? is a TABLET !! that's MY definition ........

Re: Health Report

Ron,

I am truly sorry to hear that your left knee has the same problems mine had! I wonder why it's usually the left? Are you right handed?

Good luck on the kidneys.. I don't know what they can do, kidneys are rather important.. Keep us posted.

Rog

Well, Skipper, I am somewhat ambidextrous................well, sort of...
I write left handed, and I eat "continental" style: fork left, knife right...cut and then straight to mouth w/left....no switching hands.
When I played round ball, my jump shot was right handed; layup and 1 hand dunk... left hand.
So, I am kinda screwed up in the handedness category.
For that reason, I sometimes get my left/right screwed up.

It is actually my RIGHT knee that has all the problems.............

As for my kidney stone, they FINALLY found it yesterday via CAT scan.
Looks like minor surgery for me next Monday if it doesn't pass B-4 then.
(I'm drinking lots of water and jumping a bunch in an effort to pass....gotta strain my piss til then.......(SUCKS....)

As for the right/left thing, problem is in LEFT kidney/plumbing.
When the person at the Dr's office was discussing the surgical setup, she said "right" kidney.
I said NO NO NO..........LEFT !!!!!!
She went back thru the notes and FINALLY agreed and corrected it.
I think I'll take a marker and write "NO" on my right side, and "YES" on the left................

Re: New Grip Tape

New grip tape. So exciting! I walk on the A Frame from the trailer to the truck a fair amount. Probably not the safest thing to do.

And I just found out that a week ago a lady next to one of my accounts talked to my wife about mowing her lawn and my wife said I would. They have it mowed 3 or 4 times a year and it's highly visible. No thanks!!!!
