Shop air compressor

Well, check valve is in
Head valves have been replaced.
New fittings on the cooler
Moved it about 6"
replumbed
RE-wired cuz it was trippin' the 20A breaker.
8ga to sub panel w/40A breaker
10ga from sub panel to compressor w/30A breaker.

So far, so good!
Still not sure if unloader is working correctly, but it does bleed down high pressure in about 5 seconds after pump stops.
Close enough for government work..............

I have not seen an adjustable valve for anything other than 1/8" NPT ports for 3/16" tube.
My rear tubing is 1/4"
Guess I could use a 1/4" female inverted flare to !/8" MPT fitting to adapt.
But, wouldn't that restrict the flow?
Is that what I am looking for?
Decrease in volume, or just pressure??

So, will 30% pressure lock up smaller rear brakes sooner than larger ones??

As far as booster size, how would the rest of the system (prop valve,calipers and rear cylinders) know
whether the booster was bigger of the pedal was just being pushed harder with a smaller booster?

All the the calipers and wheel cylinders know is volume and pressure. The more volume you send to either one of them the faster they start breaking. So the smaller lines sends less fluid to the back brakes and the larger line sends more fluid to the front brakes. Then comes in the pressure from the master cylinder and vacuum assist. That's what gives you the stopping power. So a bigger vacuum assist will lock up your rear brakes faster unless you lower the amount of volume going to the wheel cylinders

Bass-ackwards.............

Front has 1 3/16" line from the MC to PV, then a 3/16" line to each caliper.
Rear has 1/4" line from MC to PV, then 1/4" line from PV to tee atop diff, then 3/16" line to each rear wheel.

My quest would be for a 1/4" adjustable valve to install in the rear brake line.
As of now, I have not found one.......

WHOA ..... HOLD ON Ron, just read the directions from one of those P-valves......... NOT 4 use on ABS or a Split Diagonal system so I don't know if that's gonna be a booger for ya IF ya went with one of those valves ..????

SOooo this WON'T work ??? 1/4 inch line adapters !

That I copied from one of those valves...... better re-read and clik on all those lil boxs in their ads, .. maybe a phone call to their support dept. is in order ...???? maybe if 1pep chimes in he can offer some advice ???

Did you see this one ... ??... see the DETAILS box & clik on FITMENT , MAN .. you gotta READ & SEE everything when ya got your noodle caught in the wringer !!
