Re: MTD Yardman Transaxle Rebuild

Think you are missing the point there Boo.
You can not make humour or parody something if you do not know what you are poking fun at.
That is the difference between a comedian and a fool.
The chart was made by a fool.
It would have been funny if they had go the spiders right,
The parody about us calling everything Bastard is also wrong.
bastard is a term restricted to people and things that are close and known to you
Like you old bastard Boo.
Of the bastard dog ate my boots
Your bastard son got my daughter preggers
Or this bastard mower bloody well refuses to start.

Spiders are BUGGERS, derived from buggery the art of putting ones pride & joy some where that it fits but was not meant to be placed.

Itis typical of millenial humour.
Some one comes up with an idea or concept which is funny then in haste to share it with the world buggers it up because they get the detail wrong.
I have tried to watch some of the new breed of commedians, they are not funny to any one over their age who has a brain.
And in most cases their delivery id poor because they can not stop themselves from laughing at their own jokes which funny enough are not funny.

A similar chart to that has been around for decades.
It has a Union Jack background, the spiders in correct proportion and the names correct.
It is funny
Then there is another one taken from a government guide book for back packers about things that bite & sting
It is also funny

That one is not, unless you are under 30 in which case it is side splitting.
Sort of like a joke showing a couple and a baby with a caption "pass the rattle to baby" followed by the dad giving the baby a death adder , viper or cobra.
Now we know what they are trying to make fun of, rattle - rattle snake but if the snake depicted is wrong then it is not funny, just ignorant & stupid.

BERT .........YOU .. NEED to get totally schitt-faced on many pints, and then go get some exercise for your manly member, you WILL have a better outlook in the morning, WHY ..?? do you have to be so ... %$@#$#%&#$ ... TECHNICAL all the time!!

Re: MTD Yardman Transaxle Rebuild

Because I have a functioning brain and am not frightened to use it.
Have a think of all those not really funny sit coms that were foisted upon us.
I love Lucy - My 3 Sons etc,etc,etc.
Not actually funny but we laughed at them because there was canned laughter and people will laugh communally at things that are not funny, just because some one starts laughing.
When the shows were over, it was hard to remember what was actually funny, because very little actually was.
Then you have real commedians like your Bob Hope who after delivering a punch line paused, allowing the audience time to think about what was presented and decide if it was funny or not.
This is real comedy the rest is a reaction, I laugh because you laugh and you laugh because you are a fool and are trying to hide the fact you have no idea about what is actually happening.

I think it was Bertrand Russel who coined the phrase
" most people would rather die than think about what they are doing.
The tragedy is a large number succeed in their endeavour"
or words to that effect.

Life now days seems nothing more than lightening responces to things that required no response in the first place, setting off a chain reaction of lightning responses creating massive problems right out of thin air.

And we come back full circle to people attempting to make fun of something that they do not understand.

Re: MTD Yardman Transaxle Rebuild

Toro Z Master update. Everyone else is more important than I am so it is taking much longer than it should to complete this project. But I wired everything back together after looking at the wiring diagram. Dumb me thought I really do not need a picture of the wires that go to starter w solenoid, I will remember that. WRONG. The wiring diagram showed 4 wires connected. Charging, battery, some other wire, and the trigger wire. Well, I had 4 wires hanging so I connected them to the solenoid. Turn the key for a test fire and got nothing. I knew it was the safety circuit so I checked that everything was engaged like it should be. Brake on, PTO off and drive levers in neutral. Still no go. At this moment my oldest son came by and I told him my problem. He looked at the solenoid and asked why do you have and ground connected to the solinoid. I looked and sure as that, I had the safety circuit wires connected to the solenoid. DUHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Disconnected it and connected it the ground wire from the battery and she started right up. Not only that I gained back the extra RPM's I was missing. It purred like a kitten. Now to connect the grass collection shoot.

Re: MTD Yardman Transaxle Rebuild

Forgot to say the voltage output is 14.25. This was the reason I did all of this to begin with.
