Re: MTD Yardman Transaxle Rebuild

GOOD Morning guys,
HMMmmm Frig issues, trigger issues, computer issues, we have issues, and we need some tissues, well not really, we don't cry, we fix the problem !! Well late last nite, my email took a schitt !! gettin messages, from the SERVER that it's not receiving because the inbox is over their limits, I'm showing 7 messages with NO attachments, and my folders are out of order and even have triplicates of the same folders. First BIG issue is this POS keyboard that came with the puter, REAL @&#@##$@(% GARBAGE !! Have to use a hammer to press the keys, impossible to see the letters & symbols on the keys, Ahhhhh well, time for a better keyboard already !! Now I'm wondering how long the puter will last ?? At least I can get by with the puter, but I have a year's worth of reading to do to learn how to change this WIN 10 machine to my liking, I should be happy with a newputer BUT this whole set-up is nothing but a headache!!! WEll enough of my bitchin.... for NOW !! ... ( LOL )

Go to the email prefferences and check the box that says "remove emails from server once loaded " or something similar.
The ISP registar ( folder if you like ) treats emails the way you tell it to.
Usually there are several options like "never remove" remove after W days" "Remove when read" "remove when deleted"
Most ISP servers remove after 120 days.
However your folder on their server may also contain all of the spam that was sent to you as well.
Download one of those computer clean up applications that find & dispose of duplicate & surplus items and run it .
That will clean up your drive,
The old keyboard should work with the new computer.
Plug it in then go to keyboard prefferences and make the computer identify the keyboard, it layout and set the repeat rate while you are there.

Bert, Thanks for your input, I'm making progress S L O W L Y but I'm seeing daylight now, puter came with a McAfee Security Prgm. and it, was MOST of the problem, Dumped that schitt and most of the problems disappeared, I think the problem now, with E-Mail, is on one of the servers or both, I was using a CLIENT (private-user) email (Vista - Windows mail) which was on a POP mail address server, which supposedly removes it off THEIR server once you receive it off of that server... now using Thunderbird, and using IMAP mail, probably should have chose the POP mail option, ??? I ALWAYS delete my mail that I don't want, anything I do want, I put on a flash drive in folders, then delete ALL the others, except maybe 8 or 9 of the emails in my inbox a few in the sent-box and a few in saved-box , NONE of my folders had more than that, so total emails on this new server should be less than 20 or so . The keyboard issue is OVER !! I ordered a NEW board from HP ..( $13.00 ) w/ free shipping !! (same keyboard as the wifey has, which is great ! tried it on this new puter first, before I ordered it, see pic attach. ) again Mr, Wonderful Wizard, Thank you !! ( maybe we should rename YOU too !! ) will try to keep ya'll updated ....

Yes, sir. Got 3 hours sleep. So many darn dogs. One was tearing out his stitches so I removed them. Then they needed to go potty.

I know whatcha mean, we have a feral cat we adopted ( or he adopted us ? ) and now he thinks I'm his "daddy or mommy" , sleeps with us and is my NON-Removable shadow! loves to wake me @ 4:00 to 4:30 in the morn. to "play" and feed him, he is now an indoors only cat and he's trying to adjust to the lifestyle ( his, not ours )
I TRY to take naps if possible to catch up on lost sleep. ..

The director never learned his lesson and went on send several more factories bankrupt till eventually one of the business owners went on a rampage & shot him, his wife & their 3 children before burning down their house.

Holy crap Bert! No wonder they took all your guns away! Wouldn't just shooting the director have been enough? No reason to go off the deep end...

The 33cc Poulan ProLink

Whoever decided that it would be a good idea to take a cheap 33cc stratified scavenge chainsaw engine, put a Zama SimpleStart carburetor on it, and use it to make a big clunky weedeater that uses way too much fuel line should be fired.

Re: MTD Yardman Transaxle Rebuild

Was a bit excessive.
but when you loose everything one feels it is only right to take all from he who took it all from you.
He got 25 years by the way ( rightfully so ).
I really did not follow the whole thing but you hear stuff like remember that #!*!*!* Bill who made a mess of your old place well he has done it again to ??????.
You sort of keep tabs on them & hope never to cross paths again.
Well we never did they were going to call me at one time but the defence council pulled the temporary insanity defence, it did not work & by that time I was out of the metals industry.

Oh as for taking the guns away.
The amount of gun crime never budged after the changes in gun laws however we have never had another mass shooting since then.
We still have the deranged who want to shoot up everyone, but it is a lot harder to do when you have to manually load the next round, gives the cops 0,5s to get a shot or two in.
But the same number of gangland shooting, armed robberies and suicides etc etc etc so to an extent it was a waste of time & money apart from removing assult weapons which have no place in a civilised society apart from military personnel.

The only good thing to come out of the current crop of "terrorist hysteria" is we have finally made a decision about lethal force & absolved police & army sharp shooters from prosecution.

I put a lot of the gun crime in both our countries down to the way the media glamorise shooting people.
The last 4 gun fatalities were all from very small fragments of a single round yet we still have idiots who think you can take several hits and still walk away like they do on the movies

We used to shoot kangaroos with a round that was somewhat like a ball bearing.
No matter where you hit the roo, the hydrostatic pressure crushed all of its internal organs so at worse it died from internal bleeding.
This was because they wanted to get perfect hides off the animals.
The shells were originally designed for the Aust infantry but apparently we wanted ammo that would do serious injury to opposition troops & not kill them and we think we are the good guys.

Amen to that..............

Like all this BS about the poo football players kneeling or sitting while our National Anthem is played.
If the media wouldn't cover it, it would simply fade away (and I could watch games on Sundays again.....)
