Going through some OLD files, found this ......

when you open this page, read it, then click on the number 4792 (below the pic of statue of liberty) , THEN ..scroll down , if you look on the left side, those are the manual numbers, I found it easier to go through those starting with T M
(Technical Manual **** **** ** ( whatever its number) and look around from there , there are manuals covering MANY items, BUT.. THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE LISTING !! I really don't know how to find a particular manual on a particular item, without knowing the manuals exact designated number , SORRY !! I spent many hours trying to find lists of the manuals, but finally gave up , maybe someday I'll sit down and try it again ???

I googled ..( what is the Federal Stock Number of the M-16 Rifle ? ) I found the manual number that way,then entered the TO number in the search box (under the pic of the statue of liberty) ... Could probably find the manual by searching Google for ( operators manual for M-16 A1 rifle ) Anyway have fun if ya got hours to kill ..:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Last Official Views Guesstimate

OK Guys, I do think the view count should end at 11:05 AM on Oct. 31. That would be exactly one year since it started.

At this point I do not think we will break 116K, but it will be damn close. I'm going to guess 115,775 and let it go at that.

Socket Chisels

Doc,

You think you had a slow day yesterday! All I did was turn handles for the last four socket chisels I had that needed them. All turned from Cherry.

The three on the left are T.H. Witherby chisels. The Witherby company has quite a history.

Nice work Goomba, sometimes I look at my 5 toolboxes of tools and then wonder, ... WHAT will become of all this when I head out to "Door # 2 "" , maybe the wife will have a yard sale and some lucky guy will get it all for $25.00 !!

In my will I have an attached value sheet on all my tools, who gets what and what should be sold....I update it every year or so....my wife said she was happy to be sitting on a gold mine....LOL

My greatest fear is that, after I die, my wife will sell my tools for the amounts I told her I paid for them.....

My grandsons generations has no use for tools ( only electronics) so i guess landfill
