New member here and here are a few pics of my homemade striper and the results. The yard is a work in progress after 10 years of neglect.
I love the striped effect on lawns. It's always good seeing the different patterns people create on their lawn.
It is really looking good! it is so difficult to manage grass in summer as they get dried due to high temperature, I want some replacement of rye grass in summer as they get dried or dead in summer, I would like to ask you grass which is light in shade is that dried grass or you are using two different colored grasses in your lawn?Dead grass is killing me too.... Some are still faring pretty well, though.

Hi everyone! New to the forum!
New striping kit from Toro. Only the first time I have used it. I think it turned out pretty well!
It's a Toro 22" personal pace push mower with rear wheel drive.
The striping kit is Toro as well. I bought it online from mowersdirect.com. There is a sale until June 2nd I believe taking the price down even more. $85 I think. 20# of sand is all you will need. They have a video on their website.
As for the flag pole it is a 20' telescoping pole (4 sections). No trucks or lanyards to deal with. You can fly 2 - 3x5 flags on it if you want which I do regularly during OSU football games! The place I got it from is in Cleveland, OH. Ameriflag Inc.. All the info and pricing is on there. If you are a vet they give a discount as well.
