Alright you guys, I have searched forever for this one simple part. I don't know why it's so impossible to find, but it seems to be. I have a Cub Cadet XT1 Enduro 50", and it has been mostly a <fkn> lemon since I've had it (about 9 years?). ANYWAY, I had a hose rot and the mower wouldn't run anymore. So the hose runs to the top of the gas tank, and then into the air filter area. Without it, the engine will run for a bit but then sputter out. My searches have suggested that it's an EPA EVAP hose, but I have been unable to confirm, and unable to find one for purchase. I found what Kohler showed was the part, and the part number, but nobody sold it, and I had to go to China to finally find one. When it eventually came in, it was like 5 inches long. This thing is supposed to be like 4 feet! Can someone PLEASE shed some light on this?! I really need to cut my grass.

I concur with above posters. If you are a mechanically inclined, resourceful kind of person, you can go to an auto parts store instore or online and find what you need. A lot of parts such as hoses, spark plugs, oil filters can be cross referenced with automotive. There is no rule that says you have to use ALL oem parts on your mower, unless it is something that would void a warranty.

If the ends are intact buy a length of fuel proof hose from ace hardware and make a new one
They have a fuel resistant silicone type adhesive to bond them.
worth a look at

I haven't read this entire thread; but, I would like to make a comment to you regarding finding Cub Cadet parts. Normally, I first go to the Cub Cadet website to see if I can find an appropriate parts diagram. If that doesn't work, since MTD now makes Cub Cadet and, me having a couple of 2009 GT3200s with all of the various mower decks, plus the 45" hydraulic snow thrower, I have sometimes found it useful to call MTD and explain to them what I'm trying to find. They are usually able to help me immediately. I can then choose to purchase from them or use their info to purchase elsewhere.

What Abe said.
My question is why it wont run without it?
Maybe carb's jetted so lean it needs the tank vapor?

I looked at this CUB CADET LINK ( https://www.partstree.com/models/xt...1-enduro-lawn-tractor-2016/fuel-vent-hose-15/ ) and found they claim they have it in stock...here is a copy of it---

Cut the hose, add 4' in the middle and install.

If it's just a vent hose, why don't you take what you have to the auto parts store, match the inner and outer diameters and either splice on the added length needed or just but the full length of hose.

I'm coming up with 751-12089-34 for the 13AQA1TLA10 model (all four years). This is a 3/16 ID by 34 inches length hose. Can be a simple rubber vacuum line hose or a braid fuel line hose. The vacuum hose is not meant for handling raw fuel but works fine as a vent line. Your local auto parts dealer should have it.

BTW the PNs IL post are also valid as they are 51 and 45 inch length 3/16 hoses.

Personally I stock both types here in bulk lengths as I worked on kids ATV until late this year. But a couple ripoff customers has caused me to quit servicing them. They can now go to the higher priced shops.

This... I'd take the old hose to NAPA and ask them for a 4ft replacement. They'll have something. Gas hoses come in all different sizes - it appears yours is not metric (3/16).
