First of all the store gives you oil for a 2 Stroke when you said you had a 4 Stroke, and now, they give you the wrong plug!? I think you'd better shop at another store!
Like Kenny said though, a compression gauge will show you the extent of your problems.
OK, I'm 99.9% sure it is piston rings now.So, new oil, new plug and nothing..not suprised. My dad suggested grounding the plug and pulling the cord to see if there was any spark which there was not. A strong smell of gas came out after pulling the cord a few times..dont know if that means anything. As for the compression gauge ..I think that's out of my skill set lol..I will take it into the shop and let them have a look at it. It sounds like it wants to start when I pull the cord..kind of like when it would be flooded. Anyways..thanks for all your help guys and I will get back with the update early next week.:confused2:
