Enjoy your new truck Ric!
Most of the truck beds seem small to me.

My truck bed is 5ft 5" so it isn't a full size. My last three trucks were the same size. Sometimes I wish it was bigger but for the most part it will haul anything that I will probably need to load or pull.

Yeah my old Dodge Ram 1500 bed has around 6-1/2 feet, comes in handy when the kids want to load up the atv.
What kind of mpg's you getting out of it so far?

I can't really say yet. I haven't had the thing out to really run the thing, I've just been pulling the trailer doing yards and with it behind and a couple trips to Lowes and Home Depot it says 16.3. I hope maybe the next tank of gas to really find something out. I'm still running the tank of gas that Ford filled.

That's not bad for pulling a trailer and city driving, not to mention all that wood from Lowes/HD:biggrin:, I get about 12 with city driving.
I am thinking about buying a new truck for next year. Probably a Toytota since my wife works for them.

When I look to purchase a new small pickup truck it will probably be a Toyota Tacoma. They are consistently rated at the top in that category, and everyone says they are reliable. If/when I look for a larger truck it would probably be a Chevy, just because I like them. Probably shouldn't have said that in a thread about a Fords.

I could say something about both your choices, but it wouldn't be nice.

I still like the dodge better.
It still looks like a working mans truck.

The ford looks like a business mans truck. That he never will haul anything with.

I'd still never buy a Ford, regardless of #1 sales for years now. Respectfully dodge has been the #1 longest lasting truck in North America, witch I believe and can stand behind my 22 year old ram.
