I fit a shorter screw liberally covered with nickel high temp anti seize so it has just 1 thread inside the exhaust port

Manufacturing variations & operating variationsOn my 2015 kt735-3013 it has happened twice it turns over hard or stops when cranking in 630 hours. Adjust valves and everything is good again. I Adjust them to min spec. Now my Wife's kt735-3077 with approx 360 hours. Have never had to Adjust Her's. My engine has the metal cam gear, Her's has plastic cam gear according to engine specs. They run on same gas & oil and there both set to run the same rpm's. I have not figured out why one needs it and other one has never required it. But I'm the one that mowes all the hill's.
