Does this engine have a compression release? I'm seeing some with, and some without. The engine is acting like, if it's got an ARC, the valves need to be adjusted. But it's got one valve cover bolt that I'm almost sure is going to break off in the head if I mess with it anymore.

Build date 06/30/2015
Serial number 4518109303

If not then it's gotta be a weak starter or battery, right?

That's a lot of what I found also. But PartsTree, on their diagram had 3 different cams. One of which had an ACR. But it wasn't listed in the parts list.

This is kind of a relief. Because I didn't want to spend the rest of the day and tomorrow getting a broken bolt out.

don't you just love it when the screw over the exhaust port is fused in place? At least I got a set of tools just for this.

Prime example why we always ask for the entire engine numbers. Part you wanted boiled down to the spec number, not model number.

I think he was just making a point as to why it's necessary. Something you guys taught me years ago.
Yes I agree he was. I was just showing what is available to us when we have all the numbers.

On my 2015 kt735-3013 it has happened twice it turns over hard or stops when cranking in 630 hours. Adjust valves and everything is good again. I Adjust them to min spec. Now my Wife's kt735-3077 with approx 360 hours. Have never had to Adjust Her's. My engine has the metal cam gear, Her's has plastic cam gear according to engine specs. They run on same gas & oil and there both set to run the same rpm's. I have not figured out why one needs it and other one has never required it. But I'm the one that mowes all the hill's.
