It is because I am a swing voter and to be truthful only ever voted for a major party 4 times in 55 years of voting .
FWIW I subscribe to Ground News at the 2nd level as not being a journo I only need to know where a story originated from & the chain of repeats till it became mainstream.
It is sort of fun to tell people that a story is pure BS when they "break" it to me then a week latter get asked how come I knew it was BS & they didn't

Basically it comes down to info we are fed is cherry picked by the Right and Left. We need the whole story not just one side's of it. Otherwords we need the nitty gritty of it.

We do need to get operational control of the borders and it looks like once Congress passes a law with teeth we close it down. This way we start sending back all the illegal crossers back to their home country. Even Mexico is being hit by illegals. Those that are crossing illegal got to be pretty well at their last straw to go though razor wire.

Amd I remember one story of that big wall being used to catapult drugs over the border. They actually welded the catapult to the wall.

That's one thing about this border issue that seems to get's overlook, the potus has the authority to secure the border. The right blames Biden for not using his authority to do it. But never address why Trump didn't when he was there. If it was as easy as exercising some presidential authority, then Trump failed. His supporters can't seem to connect those dots.

PT the problem is most people have a faulty separator tube. (TV and CB Jargon) When it comes to politics I think common sense is thrown under the bus. There is so much BS being thrown out even I have a hard time ignoring it but I have to if I going to learn the truth.

But I personally avoid social media because of all the hateful attitude toward someone that has a different view point. Even here I get snapped at times for posting correct info based actual knowledge.

And when it comes to politics here if someone starts I just walk away; just like religion discussions. Both are nothing but trouble. Some folks are so into it they would just kill you if they could get by with it if you are of a different opinion.

Well if it was that easy then why did Trump have to use Title 42 to try to stop the immigrates? I think we all need to look to the actual laws that limits POTUS ability to do anything. Even the physical barrier didn't stop them, just slowed then down.

It look like the Republicans are just wanting us to setup machine gun nests along the border and kill anything that moves which violation of international humanitarian laws. Just look how Russia is doing by sending guys against the enemy just to get kill and then the next waves walk over the dead ones and so far until they over overload the enemy or decide it is a lost cause.

It not just our country responsibility but also the other countries involved responsibility to help to control the flow. Even Mexico has the same problem as we do.

At least the Senate is trying to do something finally by giving the POTUS actual authorization to close the border but the House wants just use the issue as political football.

Which btw is not a full closure we will still have authorized ports of entry open. But even those may have to be closed at times due overloads.

One thing I have learned with this whole Biden adminstration if the Dems are accusing the Republications of doing something they are the ones doing it.

First both republicans and democrats are at fault. Its not just one side or the other. Just remember you get what you voted for.

It like the tariffs DJT placed on the China and EU goods. It is a tax that consumer ultimately pays through higher prices.

And it is like Gardner and RBI charging me 3% convenience fee for to pay by CC. That extra charge just get pass along to the consumer. So what starts out at $100 for me becomes $103. Now consider I mark things up by 35% GPM the initial $100 becomes $153.87 and with the 3% surcharge now that same product is now $158.46. Now of course part of the profit does goes toward the SHC costs too which has the 3% surcharge added. But either way that is nearly a $5 dollar increase for the consumer.

Now what DJT did was to add at least 10% tariff so that same $100 items becomes $110 before the CC surcharge which with it becomes $113.30 cost and the next consumer pays $174.31 all for the same item provided I do the same GPM. Just think what the consumer was to initially pay goes from $153.87 to $174.31 or basically they pay an extra $20.44 for the same item. And just think that is my cost to the consumer. No telling how many middle men has also marked the costs along the way before I even get the product. It just snowballs.

And what worst is the 3% CC surcharge is also charged on SHC fees so the actual profit is less than you think. And that before final yearly taxes on final actual profit.

So now you know I fought so hard to get on ACH payments so both me and my customers pays less overall. Matter of fact it took me 7 months to get Gardner to change me over so they lost 7 months of sales as I refused to pay the surcharge fees.

And top of that we are still paying those DJT tariffs as the Biden has not repealed most them. So it becomes fees upon fees upon fees which just adds to the inflation overall. Tariffs sounds great upfront until you do the math and realized that the consumer is the one that actually pays them. And Government get the initial 10% tariff fee for their own use.

CC = Credit Card
GPM = Gross Profit Margin
SHC = shipping handling charges

And here is a great example of the voter IQ. About 10+ yrs aog a property tax were up renewal with an added property tax being asked to approve. They had a great opportunity to reduce their overall property taxes by 50%. Example is the 10mil tax renewal that we were voting on along with a 5 mil additional tax. They voted to renewal the 10 mil but turn down the extra 5 mil. All they had to do was vote down the 10mil tax and approve the 5mil tax thus cutting their tax by 50%. Now wasn't that smart of them.

Well 10+ yrs later another county in same state had the same situation but those voters had a much higher IQ and they cut their taxes by 2/3. Boy is that county government bitching to high heavens now.

And what worst is that DJT is now saying he wants to increase those tariffs to 25% or higher so go out and vote for DJT and another 15%+ could be taken out of your wallet.

So item that cost before the tariffs would now be $125. + 3% CC = $128.75 and with my 35 GPM becomes $198.08.

But of course that is why he is a billionaire as he get you to pay his bills.
