Hi everyone, I sold an Ariens and sears lawn tractor this past month to make room for my new Cub Cadet LX42 EFI (42") 547cc Lawn Tractor.

I wasn't really in the market but once I sat on one, I was sold. The all yellow machine is sharp and the new fuel injection is very cool. Plus a 3 year warrantee!

Hello from Arizona,

I'm new to the forum and a new Cub owner, bought at the end of last season. It's an XT1 46" with the Kohler V-Twin. I preferred my old shift on the fly Yard Machine with a 17HP Tecumseh, but the wife, who does most of the mowing, had trouble reaching the shift pedal and we all know how that goes so I had no choice in the matter. Anyway, glad to be here and hope to learn some things as well as contribute where I can. Todd.

First post.....have a cub cadet ltx1050 from 2012.....60 hours.....sv725-3021......yes that one....has developed oil leak which appears around valve cover near fuel pump I believe ( novice) kept eye on oil level and recently changed air,oil filters and used Kohler oil..was mowing 6 to 8 inch grass since rains and made sure was dry.....mower was clean under deck and motor cover ( not just hood) smelt oil and shut her down and was hotter than I have ever seen a mower. Thought ruined..... Oil filter untouchable....dipstick super hot.....cooled and oil level was good.....cranked like a champ but has to be some damage... Can't get to repair place pickup down and car only left.....any thoughts...thanks[/QUOTE

Greetings from Easter Oregon. Just picked up my first Cub Cadet today, it is an XT2, 42" deck, Kohler KT725. I have been checking it over to make sure it's OK and the pre-delivery checks and adjustments were done correctly. I did get a little mowing done and the machine seems fine, I think I am going to like it.

I also have a Honda 4514H that has served me faithfully for 23 years. I will be working on it when time permits. It looks a little rough and some things don't work right but nothing I can't fix if I can find the parts.

Hello! Cub Cadet RZT L42 (2013) owner here in MS. Currently searching this forum for guidance on changing out a melted fuse/damaged holder...while my yard turns into a jungle. Took me days to replace battery (first time ever with no knowledge) because my lawnmower repairman has retired. Lots to learn here, thanks for the wisdom :)
