I wouldn't worry about your float level, as a rule unless it is way off its not a problem. Like I said earlier the seat only goes in one way , numbers up, and make sure the new one is seated well in the bore.

The needle & seat are the problem... replace them..
The float level looks right and unless like was mentioned, if it has a hole in it and has any fuel inside the float .. that could cause this problem...

Placing the float closer to the carb body will increase the fuel level... just the opposite of what you need.... :smile:KennyV

hey guys.... i got the carb rebuild kit, installed it and all. it still leaked the same way, but after a little bit it stopped.... so i guess im good with that for now....

but, it boggs out when i hit snow. even just a little. it clogged up the chute a bunch of times too. i had it idleing and driving great. but not throwing. and the few times i got it to throw it was usually about 1 foot, but got up to about 4 feet max
