Engine 2014 Simplicity with Push Button ignition

Ok...I have a 2014 Simplicity Broadmoor with push button start...it has 16 hours...I just washed it and now it will not start...will not even turn over...push button will not even activate the electronic choke...any ideas...Im going to take it back to the dealer...Im thinking fuse but i cannot find any...thanks in advance

Okay...I did not have to go to the dealer...one of the wiring harnesses had water sitting in it...i blew it out with an air compressor and the ignition kicked in...be cautious with washing a 2014 simplicity...obviously they did not test the mowers after a thorough washing

Keep water hose away from tractor, not a good idea, you'll have a multiplicity of problems down the road, use a leaf blower & wipe it down by hand.

The worst thing for any type mower is a garden hose.

I sell about 40 very long compressed air guns for the same purpose each year.
Compressed air works a lot better than a leaf blower as you can send it into tight crevices and blow out the inside of "C" tube frame members.
Having a very long tube allos you to keep your head a long way away from all the flying debris.
On tractor you can get down around the steering gear and behind gravity fuel tanks.

BS! One of the reasons I dumped my Prestige (B&S took it back) was get it near any water and it wouldn't start. B&S acknowledges they have a problem and it's not fixed yet.

So...what happens when the wife is blowing snow when I'm out of town in biz and she has to shut it down to attend to something. She does back outside and it won't turn over.....like a dead battery?

I get the rath of the angry redhead.

p.s. I warned you jacksdad! B&S built their reputation on the Vanguard engine.....the Pro series motor is their Yugo. And they cut corners on the switch and the problems remain. Yet now they're trying to redo the switch and they're STILL trying to cheap out. Thanks but no thanks B&S!

You SHOULD be able to hose down your mower without fear of the moisture preventing it from starting. Been hosing down cooled down mowers for years without problems until the Prestige came along.

We was talking about cleaning the deck.

I have 2 Briggs that won't start if you spray water thru the flywheel.

Simple solution.

Wash the mower then dry it with a blower as you should do anyways.

Nowhere was we talkin' about washing the deck. Nowhere was I talkin' about putting a hose into the flywheel.
