Never came across a mower or motorcycle you couldn't wash down with a hose. I don't care what you have, electronics and water doesn't mix so beware. Never have and never will. You might want to think where you don't want the water to go. The same with seals and high pressure power washers. High water or air pressure on a grease seal can blow dirt pass the lip of the seal where you don't want dirt to go. I say just use some common sense with what ever you clean your mower with air or water.
