Well I got to snowblow my driveway this morning. We only got like 1.25 inches of snow, but I wanted to use my snowblower. Only the 2nd time this winter!

A week after that 3' blizzard here in CT.......

Here are my snow blowers. A 30" Ariens that is 72 hours old. $1650 plus tax at Farmington Valley Equipment. The other machine is a 11 year old 26" Snapper that has 9 HP Tecumseh engine. The Snapper is normally a back up machine to my primary snow blower. I have too much area to mess around.

Last week my primary machine was a big Craftsman and that was sold to my brother. It runs well, but it's a short machine, not the best for 2'+ snow. I like the Ariens machine as it has a tall snow chute, hand warmers and a light, ideal for my driveway and side walks. Ariens are the best snow blowers today, IMHO.
Let it snow.

That Snapper does not even looked used. You must have no grit, sand or rock at all for the blower to look that pristine. Both look like a going concern.
