John Deere Owner Check-In --- Read This First!

New here, but not to JD.
I recently downsized both the yard and the and equipment from an X595 to a D130; now just mowing without snow plowing, etc.
I'm actually surprised that this little thing seems OK!
Changing the steering wheel for the larger one made a huge difference -- almost don't miss the power steering.

I'm new here and to JD, so please pardon my dumb questions. :confused2:

I believe my tired old muscles would benefit from a larger diameter steering wheel.
My D140 takes a lot more steering effort than the mower it replaced.

What options are available for a steering wheel replacement?

John Deere Steering Wheel - GY21194 and cover M142219 were a direct replacement for that tiny thing they come with.
It's about 1-2" bigger diameter but really made the steering a lot easier.
Well worth the $43.08 at GreenPartsStore.com

Hello all, I have a 2 acre property in NJ that uses a lot of my time and a bunch of power machines. Here is a pic of my 1998 John Deere LT166 tractor and a custom built cart I made this summer.
Sorry, seems there is not enough bandwidth where I'm at right now, will try again later.
