ZG222 running hot and sparks at exhaust manifold

Any one got an infra red thermometer and a zg222 or zg227 they can take some warmed up operating temperatures of the engine running, i.e exhaust, crankcase, valve covers etc.

if the exhaust gaskets are falling apart, that would account for sparks outta the pipe

valve clearance can have an affect too
 
Thanks Lugbolt, all fixed the woodruff key on the flywheel dislodged when I put flywheel back on, so timing was out...that fixed it and I also put new exhaust gaskets on,
so all good. Cheers
