I thought i would introduce myself. I have been mowing over 13 years and 11 years respectively with 2 snapper mowers, a ninja mower, a bagger that is easily converted to a ninja machine. Honestly I love the drive systems they are very fast mowers. The motors are good a B&S and Tecumseh ovrm 60. the tecumseh likes it oil but does not blow any blue smoke. One weak spot for oil leaks is where the dipstick goes into the block, Tecumseh has had issues with this for years.
I do really like the mowers though, but i think my time is numbered as one is 11 yrs old and the other 13 yrs old. I would like to buy another snapper with the old style drive but cash is a factor. I have read great things about Toro and Honda are they true. I love the look of Husquvarna but have read mixed reviews on them.
I would love to be a lawnmower tester under real life conditions and have lawn mower companies give me a mower for a year to test out and let me write a report on it.
A excellent mower is always appreciated.
