A carb kit and fuel line might be all it needs.
I found the air vent loose and it was the source of the raw fuel.
It runs a little better, but still dies eventually.
The other needed a new primer bulb. After I replaced it, it ran like nothing was wrong.
Both have sat at least 2 years previously.
The attachment you provided was very useful, thanks!

Howdy all. I own a Stihl FS56RC weed whacker. When it works, it works like a charm....but there is a lot of operator error involved.

So the source of the leak was a cracked diaphragm. It takes so long to get parts mail-order, I have started to search out locals for my parts. A local has the rtebuild kit for the same price online, but I have to drive 50 miles round trip to get it! But, when I get home, I have it, so that sure beats waiting weeks.
