G'day everyone,

From outer Western Sydney, Australia and a proud owner of a new Hustler Rapter XD 42". This thing rocks hard and is proving to be a great workhorse. Built well to work hard and last, unlike other mowers made in errrr, Eastern Countries. Thanks for allowing me to join you all in this forum.

Howdy from Kansas.

My Cubcadet died on Friday and I am now an owner of a 21 Raptor XL. I have never used a ZTR before so this should be interesting. I bet I put on a heck of a show for the neighbors the first time mow.

BEst description I have seen for getting used o a ZTR is to drive it like a shopping trolley.
My suggestion to customers was to use your dominant hand to steer with and the other hand to match the speed .
If the lap bars are close enough together hold both in one hand and twist your wrist to make it turn till you get a feel for it .

Hi all from Mass! Coming from my beloved Gravely Pro 36 to my new Raptor XL. Love this machine so far (1/2 hour). Haha. Haven't named her yet.

Hey guys I have a hustler mini z 36 inch that is about 10 yrs old the deck belt is always coming off of the tensioner pulley so I seen that the Bottom of the tensioner pulley was up higher than all of the other pulleys so I got the upgrade kit from hustler and it looks like it would have fixed it but it still irritates the crap out of me because literally at every job I go to with you get done mowing and pack up to go to your next job get there and find out your belt is off, I know hustler was trying to make this like really compact but if your belt is going to come off this much you should have made it easier to tension the belt, untension it, and PUT IT BACK ON THE PULLEY. Pls read till the end I really need help

New user to the forum. Had my mower a couple of years, bought it heavily used and well "loved". Looking to see what options I have available regarding repairs and maintenance that will be coming up, but I don't know it's year. It's got Super Z markings, and a XR-7 Deck(60" I'm pretty sure). It know it's on it's second Honda engine, so comes from the era when Hustler was using Hondas. The model and serial number sticker has been worn it illegibility. Any way to date a Super Z that has had its engine swapped and no serial number?

Hi all,

New here to this forum as well as zero turn mowers. As of right now I have a cheap old Troy Bilt Bronco riding mower. I just moved to a new place with bigger land and I think it's just a little too much for this old mower so I'm most likely going to pick up a 2021 Hustler Raptor X 54 next weekend.

Hi You All,
When I turned 79 it came to me in a flash that my crawling under lawn tractors to change blades may not be possible anymore and after going to Mayo Clinic they confirmed my suspisions.
So I did what any tractor riding fool would do....got on the internet to research what I could do to solve my problem...You know tractor riding fools do not give up easily. So after much research I came upon the Hustler Raptor Flip Up 48 and after much time spent convincing my wife that it made perfect sense to spend five times more money for a Raptor than all my previous tractors owned. The deed was done and for the past two years I have been riding high on the hog so to speak. I sharpen my blades now every time i use the Raptor flip up.
