hey ya'll. A newbie here. I've had my 42" Raptor for 3 or 4 years with very few problems. But yesterday it began going in a clockwise circle. the right steering lever is doing nothing. All the rods and linkages appear to be fine. Any suggestions where to look next. Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Your chances of getting answers to your question is much, much better if you were to start a thread and post about it in the Hustler section.

This thread part of the Hustler section is just that....an introduction of yourself.

Good Luck on getting your problem solved and hopefully someone will chime in with helpful suggestions, etc.

Hello all, I am sure the subject of what oil to use has been beaten to death but with newer oils and engines these days I wanted to find out what everyone thinks about going to Mobil 1 v-twin 20W50 after break in, or any other oil product out there. Here in south Louisiana it is hot for most of the year, this along with high humidity which can raise the engine temp up into the severe range.
Thanks....GB

What did the person you bought it from, tell you to use?

The dealer wants to use Kawasaki 20w50 which has a good amount of zinc in it but the mobil 1 v-twin has a bit more and is fully synthetic.

You must have a Big Block / big HP engine, that is the only engines 20-50 is recommended for, other that that, IMO, Kaw 10-40 is good

Thanks for the info, I consulted the manual and here is what Kawasaki recommends. 10W40 should be best choice unless we get over 100 deg in July and August like this year.
