Since we are on the subject of mulching blades, I wanted to put up a picture of these blades. They are really cool! They are called Meg-Mo Blades. I borrowed this picture from BKBrown (View Profile: BKBrown - Lawn Mower Forum) to show you them. They are supposed to be superior mulching blades!

These blades work great for me - they throw clippings farther and produce smaller clippings.
A plus is that they will kick back if you hit anything and may chip the knives a little, but don't bend and ruin the blade. These blades work well for both tall grass and finish mowing on my Ventrac. Some others have had poor results on their particular mowers, but I am happy with them. :thumbsup:
