I see the original comment now. I didn't realize this changed pages. You taught me something. Thanks. But to answer your question I think he (WiTimeCutter) probably wants the pedal further away. You'd have to ask him to be sure. In MY case, my legs are long and I do have a slight issue getting to the pedal but its no big deal - I can get to it. In his case its his size, so I would think a welded on or bolted on DIY made pedal extending it toward the front of the machine without interfering with the original pedal's movement would work. I don't know, its just my guess without seeing it.

I drilled another hole about 3 inches below the original and moved the foot piece down and now I can reach it on the go.
