threads stripped

my 1994 lawn boy 10515 spark plug threads are stripped out. is this the end?

Short answer, NO. I’ve put many spark plug HeliCoils into these engines without tearing them down. Any good repair shop should be able to do this for you.

$30 for a helicoil $ 40 for a solid insert ( Aust $ ) .
Any engine if I have clean access to the plug hole
I do them in around an hour .

ask for a time sert. Next time the head is off have the hole Tigged and retapped.
