Rog, Good morning to you Sir.
Tom

Sir!!?? As we rag hats (a.k.a "Enlisted Swine") used to say, "Don' t call ME sir! I'm just as good as you are!"

That was a great trip Tom, but I'm still sorry you didn't have time to drop in for a visit when you were up our way. We'd have been glad to feed you a lobster or three..

Thanks for thinking of my issues but I hate watches. I do have a clock by my bed I can read when I wake up but having a 4 year old in the house does not mean it will always be on. He loves to turn off my power strip at times. He finds it very funny. I am not sure why but I guess he has his reasons. I was so glad when I got my first cell phone because I took off my watch and have never put one back on. It took over 3 years before the hair grew back on my wrist. For Boo I never had hair on the palms of my hands. Yes that is an old wives tell.:laughing:

Chuck,

Well if you won't wear a watch (and yes, I have no hair on my wrist either) I have one more idea. A friend recently told me about a clock he has that projects the time onto the ceiling above his bed! That would drive me nuts (I like my sleeping quarters to be cool and ink black) and if you have a rug rat shutting off your power every now and then, that wouldn't work either, but it's the best I could come up with on the spur of the moment. I have an answer to your 4 year old, but none of my 'old school' methods are PC anymore, so I won't mention it.

Rog

PS, I was up again at 0400 this morning, but had emails and a letter to write before I ended up here..

Re: Women

Well, after 40 years of marriage (to the same Wife,) I have finally figured something out:
Whenever my Wife asks my opinion on her course of action; she is nit REALLY looking for
what NOT to do.
If my opinion differs from hers, then she knows that what she wanted to do is what she WILL do.
If my response agrees with her plan, then she is SURE she would have been wrong, and opts to take the other alternative.

Guess I was a little slow on the uptake.....

Ron,

Having once been married for 35 years - same woman - I'm a slow learner too! And then being in a nearly twenty-year relationship - another woman - I'm slowly getting the hang of things - I feel confident in saying that your revelation in understanding even this simple man/woman relationship situation is about on par with men whom I consider to have above average intelligence. Many don't ever get that far in comprehending the female mind.. look at Boo!

Re: Women

That took you 40? I learned that in 30.

Thirty - Forty - See what I mean? It would be easier to solve Carmichael's totient function conjecture, than to unravel the average females mind.
