Yep Ronno we flooded over here 3 inches of so far..... The TV stations were over here today at noon the main artery going east and west is impassable even for the big rigs ............ When Hwy 190 is shut down its bad .....
We drove across I-10 yesterday in order to avoid today's weather.
It drizzled on us quite a bit and traffic was fairly heavy, but not too bad.
That is, of course, with the exception of Baton Rouge.
Traffic was at a stop/crawl from 5 miles west of the bridge till well on to I-12.
People get REAL stupid coming into Malfunction Junction, and the rain didn't help things 1 bit.
The trip which normally takes 7hrs with 1 pit stop, 1 fuel stop and lunch took us almost 8hrs yesterday with only 1 combo pit/fuel stop.
I had intended to miss the Dec.26th traffic and come home today, but the weather made me rethink things.
Left Tx. at about 1120 hrs and arrived home at 1910.
SUX !!!
