Happens sometimes.
I was mowin' some today.
My Huskee started makin' a bit of noise from the muffler area.
Maybe it is rotting out.
Easy enough to change, but not cheap (V-Twin B&S)
Maybe I should put headers and glass packs on it............

Bit of welding it will be right as rain.


people oft complain their mower is not running right cause it sounds funny.
I used to look at the muffler and find it similar to yours but when they get a quote to replace it they go bannanas. "what do I need muffler for - it is not a car"

So now I bring it in for a "major engine service", tell them how lucky they were cause it was about to blow up, add an extra hour to the service time to cover the cost of the new muffler and don't list muffler in the parts .

They are thrilled that their close attention has "saved their engine", the mower now runs a lot more quiet so I am a top mechanic and the world is a wonderful place.

People are really strange
