Gonna give these a try. I've been using radio headphones while working with power equipment for many years. Usually just the digital Worktunes. Mine have about had it. Radio reception is lousy where I am - too rural, and having a cord connected to an ipod or my phone for music gets in the way. So I'm going to try a Bluetooth pair.
The first set I had were great. They had stereo microphones on them so you could hear outside too...you could blend the radio and outside so you could still hear the radio when working by the road yet still hear traffic. And digital noise cancelling blocked out loud noises. Or you could just turn them on microphone and actually hear better than without them. Great for eavesdropping, lol. People think you can't hear them. Basically tactical headphones with an AM/FM receiver and MP3 player. Similar to these.

So what do you all use for hearing protection?
