Hey, Roger,

I'm going with spruce.
Less $$$ and available closer to home.
Gonna paint, then put aluminum skin on outer surface to match the surrounding door trim on house.
Should be unnoticeable, but will open with the door.

Coulda just used an over-sized shower-curtain and been done with it by now !! ..:laughing:..:laughing:

I created a system for use with the Cyclone Rake that was supposed to put the leaf debris in trash bags. It began to work, but the air exhaust screen got clogged with leaves and blew the lid off my trash can. Grr.

Garage door update

Top filler panel mocked up and installed.
Fit is good, but ran into a roller issue.
Having 2 rollers close together was fine on the curve, but as they entered the straight section, the top roller, being farther away from the panel as it landed in the arc, would require some relief on the lower outside edge of the joint between panels in order for the door to flex backwards.
I could probably do that, but I found the easier option was to remove the roller at the joint between panels.
There is no noticeable weakness at this joint doe to the missing roller.
