I am purchasing new tires for my Toro Z Master 320

I have narrowed it down to 2 choices. The first one I used successfully on my Husqvarna. The second one is similar but with a different pattern. I will be using the mower on a 20-degree grade going sideways to the slope. Wondering what everyone thinks will hold best for the 2 different tires.

The square shouldered tyre will be far less likely to slip.
The down side is they also tend to tear up your grass when you turn.

TIRES!!! Now we have to add tyres to your repertoire! Is there no end to your scope of knowledge? I see Tire #2 on lots of ATV's, but I like the pattern on Tire #1 best.

However, Bert-Man is of course correct:

Square-shouldered tires...
Are often found on new riding mowers
Have a squared-off area where the sidewall meets the tread
Perform well on different kinds of grass and terrain
“Float” on the lawn (meaning they don’t dig in)
Will retain more shoulder stability on small inclines than round-shouldered tires.

Round-shouldered tires...
Will leave little rutting
Are commonly made with a less aggressive tread, which means they’re more turf-friendly
Have a rounded tread that’s suitable for garden utility carts and other tow-behind attachments

Well if you were up EARLY ..... AND, on the forum, you would have seen the GORGEOUS sunshine, Chuck posted the pic ! ..( LOL )

YEP a gorgeous day !! after the BEST Super-Bowl game I have watched in YEARS !! BOTH team's were FANTASTIC, I usually NEVER watch any feet-ball, sometimes a college game, but until the NFL grows a set... and demands ALL players respect OUR American Flag, AND National Anthem, in my book they can go **** themselves, spineless, gutless, self-centered, greedy, corrupted, #@^&$$#@%#@$% ! There are a few with respect and dignity, and pressure from the few, CAN, change the many !
