Gorgeous day here, so I felled a couple of small hickories that were growing next to larger trees
and looking rather sickly.
Chainsaw, nippers and my trusty DR 16.6 dedicated chipper (GEEZ, how I love that thing..) and they are history!
(Except for the larger trunk sections that are now in the rifle target backstop.....

About 14 more to go............

that's what I am doing today, well really I did it a few hours ago......cleaning up branches from the storm.

In case anybody is interested in Goomba's dilemma, I found this News report a lil while ago, if you look at the top of the picture showing, you'll notice the fwd. back, arrows for displaying 27 various pics, some serious devastation they have. Guess Goomba is in for some frigid weather and dark nights, best he snuggles with his wifey and keep each other warm ... hoping they get get their power back REAL QUICK .

I'm just curious, ( nosey ) but, do any of you guys read the LAST several posts BEFORE you post something ?? I always read at least the last 2 pages just so I know what the hell we're talkin about, course MY drivel and rantings aren't enough to warrant a pimple on a gnat's arse, but I'm used to kidding myself,... ALWAYS !! you guys know how I get !! ..:laughing:..:laughing:..:cool2:..:mur:..:banana:

I usually backtrack to my last post, or at least back to a point which I recognize.
My problem is that I tend to get bored rather quickly into a lengthy post and do not read the entire paragraph(s)
Shorter attention span with age, I guess........

Damn, it just occurred to me, that if Roger has no power and half of Maine is without power.......the parts I ordered Saturday are not going to be here tomorrow. Now I know why I did not receive a shipment email yet.
