So I was working on my Toro Z Master last night. Changing the stator. You have to pull the motor to do it. Got everything out and took off the engine cover. Then removed the flywheel. STOP. Now I have some cleaning to do.
I guessing the reason this did not overheat is the stator was not strong enough for the PTO to stay working for more than 20 min at a time.
